We will always have money we're a sovereign country with our own currency and central bank, massive debt was because of a world wide crash and if debt is so important to you can you explain why household debt is now higher than it was pre 2008? After 10 years of austerity government they've managed to make the economy worse while also gutting public services, incredible

RORY Stewart is an active MI6 agent currently in deep cover in an extreme right-wing group planning to devastate Britain, sources have revealed.

Those amoral shareholders probably include your pension provider and the pension providers of most on this site.....
That doesn't make breaking the law right though, surely? There are no shortage of pension plans that aim to invest in ethical stocks (ie no arms, tobacco, fossil fuels etc.)

Bruce, you can find fault in any industry if you look hard enough or go crazy enough....food makes people fat, sweets ruin kids teeth, furniture destroys trees and the environment, don’t even get me started on cars. It just depends which particular bee in the bonnet you have.....
A company breaking the law is a company breaking the law. Even in the sectors you mention, there are going to be those who behave ethically, and those who don't. To brush aside the actions of the unethical as one of those things is not the right approach imo.

Come on, he's not grabbed around the throat has he? Heaven knows there are enough crappy things to chastise the Tories for, getting wound up by things like this and what Francois said to the plonker in his EU flag suit yesterday just comes across as incredibly petty, especially when people start wanting to get the police involved for such trifles.
