Incredible she has turned out to be a Tory. In my younger days I knew her father, Jimmy, very well - he lived in the next street to me in Kirkdale. Very down-to-earth lad who started his own business off from scratch and built it into a fine going concern.

She couldn't even be the champion on the Wirral so had to be hand delivered a safe seat. She's an absolute no mark who has no influence on anything.

Just imagine if politicians were there to do their best for everyone in the country, starting with those who need help the most, rather than just favour those who support them and blow smoke up their arses. Be nice to the Tories and they'll be nice to you. Still, at least we can see that you're a true Tory if this is what you really think is the way forward for cities like Liverpool.

Hence why he'll get nowhere. Even if MPs put him forward to 'broaden the conversation' ala Corbyn, it's very unlikely that the (majority old age Brexiter) membership will vote for anyone but a hard Brexiter.

I think "Being in Government" v "Not Being in Government" is a reasonable place to start.

Seem to recall numerous instances where you've commended the impact Labour has had on the Brexit process. Usually in response to accusations that they've been a rubbish opposition.

I agree with the woman regarding safety nets, it is disgraceful to remove support when it is needed. I think it’s disgraceful however for Labour to hijack this considering it was they who left the Tory/LibDem alliance with no money, massive debt, and no answers other than borrow more money. I am not a big fan of the LibDems, but they played their part, in a grown up fashion, to help get the country back on track.....
