Proof once again that trust in tory numbers is at an all time low. boris though innit...

You have to wonder whether this incompetence is part of a plan, because no one can be this bad by accident, can they? Myself think they know they have run the country into ground and just want out.

Sunak says he's not worried about the polls.
Well, that's a big fat lie, isn't it?
Maybe not, he probably isn't worried even he must've twigged he's a dead man walking, which is maybe why he sprung it on everybody - let's just go through the motions on the 4th July, then me and the missus can bugger off on our hols and put all this behind us

I'm sure it's been said in here already, but Sunak made a point of saying "I went to all the UK based D-Day commemorations" when being challenged on this

I think he thought that he'd get a pat on the back for "sticking it to the EU and Biden" by not staying, but didn't realise that this is a topic where most people aren't as anti-Europe or anti-American. Those folks fought along side us, and died along side us, in the quest to liberate Europe from the clutches of the Nazi's. This is the one day of the year where even most of the right wing flag shaggers are happy to stand alongside with people from other countries, because we really were all in it together and really were fighting something worth fighting

He's badly misjudged the reaction, and is either poorly advised or an outright buffoon
Or both

Firing from what? Parliament is dissolved so withdrawing the whip isn't an option. She's been in open rebellion all year, I remember when the first Rwanda decision went against the government she went immediately on air on GB news and demanded Sunak be replaced by Patel.

As well as photos with Farage she also signed those pledges that Laurence Fox was offering to pocket an extra £5k for herself.

Polling suggests she's getting bombed out of the Commons anyway, so no doubt she barely cares anymore and wants to lay into Rishi one last time. She'll be on the GB News circuit full time in a few weeks so can pal around with all the deplorables to her heart's content, might as well make a start now.

Here she is pictured having her last ever interaction with her (current) boss:

Given his Sky TV comment I’m leaning towards ‘outright buffoon’.
