Never seen anything quite like it. The best strategy for Labour is to avoid saying anything and keep Starmer off the tele and away from interviews.I was a bit concerned when the election was announced that they might end up pulling a load of voters back, due to the heavy propaganda, the poor showing so far from Labour and the apparent stupidity of people who would rather either not vote, or believe that somehow the last 14 years are not the Tories fault. However, Sunak is doing a great job of messing this up, which is great to watch.
Which will mean the infrastructure of certain Departments will suffer and performance go downhill. The Tories don't have a single brain between all of them!Incredible that they are bragging about having 32,000 fewer civil servants, even more incredible they will be cheered on by certain people. Truly an evil ideology.

SKY TV used to be seen as a sort of feckless working class thing. No one I knew that was posh had SKY. The satellite dishes were thought of as common.
And what the Tories do not mention in the removal of 32,000 jobs, is the loss of 32,000 payments-in of income tax and NI every month, coupled with, as you say, the payment out of state benefits every month. But they do not publish any figures as to the actual net savings when all that is brought to account. Nor, as I said, the effect of the absence of 32,000 employees to the efficient running (as far as that is possible) of Government departments. They are a bunch of idiotic, self-serving, clowns! Good riddance to them on 5th July...And these 32,000 jobs that are going that they are cheering about, who pays for them signing on the dole ? Oh yes us the taxpayer, that is after we've paid their redundancy packages, where genius.
