Won't happen till after the election when Farage will stage a takeover of the Tories.
I suppose it depends upon the drivers of the Brexit voting folk. Was it mainly getting out of the EU or was it immigration and our borders, and the EU keeping our door open in the minds of some. If the red wall shift, for example, was about border control then it won't be a surprise to see Farage pick those of that mindest up. The cons have failed to bring numbers down as they'd promised and haven't "stopped the boats". Nige will be seen as a saviour to some, those who can't see that he's a conman.

The nightmare scenario of the cons seeing this as the turf to plant their flag should Sunak lose could well see Braverman or Patel getting the nod and voices shifting further to the right. A con reform alliance in that scenario would be the stuff of nightmares.

It’s down to the incoming Labour government, in that case, to get the show back on the road and give people some hope for the future.

So the big news this morning is that a group of the usual shower (that's the worse shower within the wider shower) are going to present Sunak with a set of 'alternative' manifesto pledges when his invariably fall flat and produce no polling bounce later this week, and maybe even launch a rebel manifesto to the public.

Because if anything is going to get their prospects to turn a corner, it's undermining the leader in open mutiny during the campaign! They really have given up and are on open maneouvres for Sunak's job if this happens.

As well as the Braverman/Jenrick axis moving this forward, the 'New Conservatives' are apparently involved. That co-leader Miriam Cates is a proper danger and needs drumming out of the Commons this year. Polling does suggest that will be the case.

That lot all need yeeting. Cates is our very own Marjorie Taylor-Greene.

There's a decent chance that weird, spiteful little homunculus Jenrick could go, too.

Not sure about Cruella.

It's strange but correct that the same party has always crucified Russia a Communist Country for its acts against human rights but now the Tory party want to end human rights. 🤷‍♀️
The only human rights the Tories are interested in are the ones that suit them. Want to excercise the human right that entails you “ withdrawing your labour “ ? Think again pal.

They want out of ECHR so they can turbo charge this Rwanda nonsense, on top of which it'll mean they can further overcrowd prisons, as well as remove certain safeguards re H&S in the workplace and the accountability for injury thereafter. Sick, injured, disabled? onto the scrap heap you go. Right to protest? that's a thing of the past. Give the pigs carte blanche to hammer whoever they choose? You bet! Removal of citizenship, arrest without charge, confiscate any and all goods and property. Round up the undesirables and cram them into a slum. Some very infamous people* tried this a few decades ago, had a recent celebration and remembrance for one of the big steps in defeating them recently on a beach in Northern France...
