The arrogance and gaslighting is incredible with Sunak et al. Literally have ransacked the UK whilst overseeing the demise of frontline services and now want to scapegoat migrants, disabled and those less fortunate. Let's remind ourselves of their self interest and greed whilst people were suffering...

@NilSatisOptimum agrees with Liz Truzz and Richard Tice with regards to Net Zero.

Jus have better grasp of reality than bitter older men it seems. As for Truss and Tice even broken clocks can be right. More importantly a massive asset for Labour so all is good.

SNP are now getting it... :)

People like yourself probably don't help. You must be a denier to revel in this to such a degree. Personally, it makes me rather sad that we're wasting precious time and resource on things that won't work, that are simply intended to keep BAU hobbling along its destructive path.

For your part, have you asked yourself 'What if I'm wrong?' ? Have you thought about the implications IF the science (not the politico-technical application of mitigating measures) is right and nothing/too little is done ? Just from a mental health perspective (which you do obviously care about), how would that play out? Here's a clue, the general state of the population's mental health would not improve, nor remain as good as it is now.

Net Zero gone the same way as vegetarian and vegan food just another PR disaster for the zelouts, who would have thought?!. Once you get every government signed up then you can bother me with your high fantasy utopia. While your at sort out world peace and freedom of movement for all...

So because we are struggling to achieve it, we shouldn't bother?
You can bother. Just ill bother about people's benefits under the Tories etc. Climate I can see the difference for the worst, but at this point its managble. And it's for humanity to worry not one country or fringe within . It's going to take huge disaster that human race has not witnessed yet to put Net Zero on top of every country agenda, until then you will have to wait for the told you so's.

I think you might just qualify...

'How Rishi will tackle sick-note culture...

12-month rule for unemployed

Tory manifesto plans will see people on the dole have their benefit claims closed after a year unless they can convince Jobcentre staff they are actively looking for work and willing to accept any reasonable job offer.

Personal Independence Payments
Hundreds of thousands of people with anxiety and depression could lose access to payments worth up to £700 a month and instead be offered therapy to help them back to work.

PART-TIME WORKERS
New rules will require part-time workers on Universal Credit to look for more work. Anyone working for less than the equivalent of 18 hours a week on minimum wage will have to show they are actively seeking more hours.

Disability rules
The work capability assessment rules, which govern who is eligible for sickness benefits, will be tightened to require 424,000 with milder mental health conditions to start looking for work.

Sick notes
GPs could be stripped of their role in signing off people as sick and replaced by 'specialist work and health professionals' who will focus on what work people could do with support, such as flexibility to work from home.

Benefit Fraud
Investigators will be handed new powers to tackle benefit fraud, which hit £6.4 billion last year. In future they will have similar powers to those investigating tax fraud, including the ability to make seizures and arrests.'

This genuinely sounds like a Russell Brand grift.
