How the EU works is that we vote in heads of states who we entrust to vote in our behalf in the EU.

It’s democratic just not direct

And when the heads of state are ganged up on or scuppered by a rogue vote ( See Hungary and the aid for Ukraine as an example), it becomes a sclerotic mess…..

I've not seen anything to say we are doing 'okay'.

What I've seen is a widespread set of figures indicating all major european exonomies are not performing brilliantly, arguably because of the Ukraine war, but the UK are amongst the worst performing.

Please could you share?
