Dunno mate, possibility, but I imagine the gennies are different because of the combustion temps.

Oh, and burning coal may have a lower carbon footprint. I have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me.

They are playing the system. The pellets they produce come from Canada and they were not putting the CO2 figures for the transport of these pellets in their footprint calcs if I remember correctly.

Drax and BP lobbied the government for funding on CCUS projects and secured it before other emerging markets.

Yeah, US and S.America too I believe. Is this the same round of scam that collapsed N Irish assembly and had farmers burning stuff aots in sheds?
