Indeed and Lineker wasn't comparing the UK government to Nazi Germany, he was saying how the language being used by politicians about immigrants is similar to language being used by German politicians in the 30's, which prepared the ground for the rise of the Nazi's. Lineker is entirely correct to point it out. I guess the lesson learnt from 1930s Gemany is not enough did.

The sad thing is Walks is how many people will be siding with the BBC on these decisions. I know it's just a footy show but it's truly saddening and it won't stop here.

I'm also on a horse racing forum. Of the 65 comments on this topic, 60 of them are derogatory to Lineker.

It's a generation thing, just like Brexit, just like their views on immigration. Of course its all linked.
