The biggest win the right has had, is managing to convince people that the media, and the BBC in particular, is some type of leftist propaganda machine, when all the evidence points to them simply towing the line for the government of the day.
Cancelling Attenborough‘s programme seems like madness to me, strategically speaking. Think the Tory party may find out, that people hold him in much higher esteem than any of their lot.
The fact that a naturalist and conservationist, cares for and speaks out about the environment, is hardly surprising, but is obviously considered way too ‘leftist‘ for this country now. Very sad.

There are no facts in a post-truth world. When any one can find a 5 minute vid on YouTube to ‘disprove’ decades of work by the finest minds in the field, any facts just become matter of ideological opinion.
