It's not like he's starting each week with an overview of the latest Tory scandal before cutting to Wolves against Spurs. Besides, there's plenty of other examples of people working at the BBC who have and will continue to say whatever they want.

The same people rejoicing at this news tonight have probably spent the last two years being vehemently opposed to 'cancel culture'.

I suspect shell and bp and exxon and the rest don't like facing off with the leading environmentalist in the world. Hatchet job him instead.
The Lineker thing actually proves their (tory gestapo) nazism, in that the nazis disappeared and executed any naysayers to their rise to power. Linekers not been murdered but they've killed his career. The message this sends to any other potential dissenters is toe the line or we can have you removed just as easily.

Lineker isn't a news reporter or a political commentator so I don't really understand all this. He's a football presenter and doesn't discuss politics during his BBC appearances, so I am a bit baffled.
