I dont know mate. I got a GP appointment dead easy the other month. Its a nightmare to get an appointment with "your" GP, but otherwise, not so bad. Phone in the early afternoon would be my tip.
My practice you phone first thing in the morning, get added to a list, a GP then calls you back at an unspecified hour and decides whether you warrant a face to face meeting. Miss the call and you have to get added to the list again.
I want to blame this on the tories and brexit please.

It didnt feel under staffed when I was in the Bristol BRI. But folk have said repeatedly, the emergency side of the NHS is pretty well looked after; its the less sexy areas that maybe take the strain.
its a false argument anyway mate, the only difference will be we will get people that are cheaper to employ than the current EU ones ,from say India for example.
makes good headlines for people on both sides of the fence.

We'll be able to drench our own rivers.

Dredging may be affected because silt is classified as waste, rather than a natural material, making it expensive to dispose of - possibly a consequence of how EU rules have been interpreted, rather than what they intend. I understand the Rhine and the Seine are still dredged without issue, for example. But EU requirements to deal with rivers to promote nature do not cause flooding. Building houses on flood plains and in water meadows is just plain stupid. And there have been complaints about inadequate spending on flood defences for years. e.g. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/jul/09/uk-flood-defences-committee-on-climate-change (2014). Rocket science it is not.

i know , not sure the agencies, work that way to supply the workers into the market though,
I have an Indian mate who brings workers over he does quite well out of it .

Recruitment agencies are generally paid a fee for finding people, yes. The workers won't be paid a different wage based on their nationality though as that is against the law.

Not by nationality but the fact they are agency staff who get paid more ironically in some cases and the agency takes it cut of the higher figure.
My eldest has been working along side people doing the same job , for £2 or £3 quid an hour more that are on a agency contract, she was on a 12 month NHS contract's pennies over the minimum wage ,and has been since she has got her masters about 4 years a go, normally told that's all we have funding for.
Thankfully now got a full time job on decent wages.

Aye, agency and bank staff do get paid more. Not 100% sure, but I suspect they're not in the NHS pension or any of that though.

WhoooHooooo........If we hadn’t have “got Brexit dun” we couldn’t buy one of these keepsakes to show our grandchildren.

Oh, and as you can presume the EU will reciprocate and require all British expats to know the language of the country they're in, have a PhD, a job and a decent income, we can expect all of the retirees from Spain and elsewhere in Europe to be clogging up the care homes that Patel wants to upskill the unemployed British population to do the supposedly unskilled work that we don't need Europeans for now. It probably makes sense in the mind of a fuckwit who pursues an anti-counter-terrorism policy.
