Why is a 14 year old riding round London on a moped ? Thought you had to be at least 16 ?

Apparently the lad in question was a pupil at the school my two kids went to in Nottingham up to about six months ago. Nothing to suggest he was anything other than your normal youth from a good family but a lot can change in six months especially at that impressionable age. Doesn't sound right a 14 year old riding around on a scooter though.

Don't think you can just attribute it to London, Nottingham has had its fair share of knife/gang crime recently as I'm sure many other towns and cities would attest to as well. It's certainly very sad.

Unsurprisingly Joshua gardener the lad who attacked a car with what was reported as a ‘zombie knife ‘ has had his sentence increased to 3 1/2 years after the COA ruled it unduly lenient.
