That's not being tough on crime, it being punitive for the sake of appearances. Increasing police resources and training is a start and necessary, but it doesn't touch the root causes and we can start on them by getting rid of this disgusting tory government

Well if you see the news today there are plenty more police stood around. I’m sure these officers where not all stood in a cupboard in parliament waiting to come out.
They have been drawn from other areas of London and more than likely off pre planned knife disruption operations.

So their feelings don't get hurt? Yes, that's the reason why parliament has so many police to protect it.

Lets just remove all police from all sensitive, vulnerable buildings, redeploy them elsewhere and see what happens!

I was taking about the extra police deployed to parliament today not the police who’s normal duties are to protect it and the people who attend there.

I don’t know if you have been following the news but the reason why extra police had been deployed is because a certain Tory MP didn’t like being called a Nazi.

Genuine question has she complained ? I know the speaker has but she seemed ok with the experience despite me thinking it was awful personall I find it ironic to see Tory mp’s to be complaining about needing more police but in a democracy where two years ago an mp was murdered I’d think we need to read carefully don’t we ? Unless you think this is all ok , to me it just isn’t .

I don’t think she has think it was a third hand report as far as I’m aware. Also I don’t believe it’s a crime to hurt someone’s feelings.
I see your point about the Tory’s wanting note police, the irony being that have cut them to the bone.

I agree with free speech and lawful protest, however to me these yellow vests have taken it too far and are a disgrace.

It isn’t ok, it’s disgraceful. Yet the left are more than happy to do similar. Farage stated that he’s had this every single day, and if you remember he had to hide from a mob in a Pub in Scotland, and was told that he wasn’t welcome so what should he expect, by the SNP First Minister......two faced doesn’t even come close......

The kid who whipped a machete out last year had been rammed by a car. Would seem a coincidence. I've cycled a whole lot and bad though some drivers are, this sort of thing doesn't happen by accident.
