You summed up perfectly why so many of us over here are pulling our hair outI "love" this idea that there is a wrong time to speak about gun control after a mass killing. Like, ok, according to those pieces of crap on the other side, you can't talk about it that same day. And the day after is a day to grieve so you can't do it then either. But theres a mass shooting in the US more than there are days in the year, so if you can't talk about it today and you can't talk about it tomorrow when CAN you talk about it?
Also, obligatory [Poor language removed] Ted Cruz. "They're playing politics", well, yeah, because one side of this argument wants to stop being the only country in the world that has this issue and the other side doesn't want to because of.....?
Also the GOP seem perfectly happy to talk about immigration policies the same day if it is an illegal immigrant who does the shooting. Or smear a random trans person.I "love" this idea that there is a wrong time to speak about gun control after a mass killing. You wouldn't understand as you're not American. Only an American would understand. The "right to bare arms" thing is so naff to the outside world, it seems to stem from a time when it was appropriate to carry guns, yet somehow, Americans still seem hell bent on continuing with it, despite the changes in their country over the last 200+ years. Very strange to the rest of us.
