Will Trump finally act after these tragic events over the past couple of day's?

If not, he is conceding that the right of deranged individuals to own military grade weapons, supersedes the right of American citizens to go about their lawful business.

I think that point in time was reached a good while ago. Legislators/politicians have decided that regular mass shootings are a price worth paying for allowing the freedom to buy whatever firearm you want.

Nothing will change.... Obama oversaw worse than this and could do nothing, Bush oversaw much worse than this and could do nothing...

Virginia Tech shooting 2007, 33 deaths.... Bush was President

Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, 2012, 28 deaths (6 year olds)... Obama was President

Columbine High School shooting 1999, 15 deaths, Clinton was President

Sandy Hook always stands out to me, 6 year old were murdered at school, and nothing changed.... If that didn't result in change nothing will....

Or just go back to what the Second Amendment actually says and get the federal (and state) governments to organize, equip and regulate a militia comprised of all adult American citizens of good character.

They can then take measures required to satisfy the criteria of "a well-regulated militia" (such as requiring training, standardizing ammunition and weapon types and even supplying the things themselves if they wanted to be really effective) which would have the effect of wrecking most of the gun industry over there, which would allow them to actually do checks on these people and to keep a register of who had what (which would be required so you could call the militia out in an emergency). It would also cut away a lot of the legal argument on which the current pro-gun position rests, because it is a lot more correct than the failed collective rights argument is.

I expect the U.K. will get the blame.....

Just to put things into perspective, nutters exist on both sides

This isn't a left or right thing you clown. Scum and nutjobs come in all shapes and sizes.

This is about doing something about guns and controlling access, so this sh** stops or at the very least decreases.

How about you explain to all of us how your "side" feels on that issue?

Thoughts and prayers and people kill people. Not forgetting video games and lack of faith. That's all we get from the right or like what you just did, point out that they maybe lefties.

Not forgetting them blaming mental health and then doing nothing about that either. A party simply happy to be bribed by the NRA and lie to people.

Pathetic response from a pathetic human being.
