There are 7 billion people on a planet that probably can't sustainably feed half of that. Is god going to provide them all with places to live and food and water?

It's insane to me that people can't see this. I am aware that nothing I do as an individual is going to alter the course we're on but we decided years ago we weren't going to have kids, partially because of overpopulation but mainly because what sort of a world will they have when they're my age? I haven't taken a flight in 4 years and ditched the car too.

Then I read this garbage and wonder why I bothered.

speak for yourself. if you are talking about the freedom to go out and buy a gold yacht then you may be correct but if thats all you aspire to then no-one can help you. J. Peterson is trying to empower people but they would sooner attack him rather than their abusers which is psychological and J.P. is very well aware of this. edit-with all your talk of `personal disempowerment`, have you ever thought you might`ve bought into the victimhood mentality hook line and sinker?

When quoting people and initials you audience may never heard of, at least please mention the ideas you are referring to otherwise the debate becomes nothing more than a chat about people not philosophies.

I'm not a victim. I live life the way I please and swerve the social norms we are programmed with. We are disempowered when it comes to hard policies about the way society should be run and what priorities it should set. For example - we will NEVER in the uk properly tax the extraordinarily wealthy in order to properly fund the NHS, schools, care centres etc. The reason we won't us because the media that tells the dumb and poor) majority what to value is part of that obscene wealth. This is why I often come across educatedly deprived people with just enough to get by saying "I'll never vote Labour" - but when you ask why they struggle to recall a single valid or rational reason.

Mate, I'm perfectly happy with my life. I live to the principles that matter to me, I do the things I enjoy, my work is great and I have the best partner anyone could ask for. You go find someone who needs your help.

why?.......don`t you already know? - we can`t tax them because they don`t have jobs, they have assets not money. tax is for the average Joe.
