Now this is what we want. Two upstanding gladiators. Are you absolutely mad, or just the product of the mad US consumerist culture? The planet is OVERPOPULATED, stretching resources to the limit and still going.
If you want women to prioritise having children into an overpopulated world, which death would you prefer for them to choose for their children? Plague due to living in close proximity, starvation, or war over resources? It will be one of them very soon, if we carry on breeding for fun due to thinking like this.
Yes it did! you not heard the one about the loaves and the fishes?Do the scriptures, written millennia ago when infant mortality was high and life expectancy were low suggest ways that food will miraculously appear on a finite land area to feed an unchecked population?
Scriptures were written for an infant species. The science that is so often denied by extremists is very good at helping us live, its even given us contraceptives do people can have carnal relationships responsibly, but it cannot manufacture infinite resources from finite ones.
To argue that we must keep breeding because otherwise a diminishing population will struggle to support an elderly one is absolutely not the right solution.
really Mickey? we are talking generally here right. what choice do muslim women have? Islam is a very patriarchal ideology with girls barely allowed to go to school etc etc. i think it was the UAE allowed women to drive about 3years ago, only with their husbands consent of course. maybe i`ve taken this topic off on a different tangent where you didnt intend it to go, who knowsI actually respect the Muslim community because they got their ass together and are still having around 4-5 kids on average which is what most people should be striving for. I think the Christian community needs to take notes and try to emulate this.
IF this is true and there is a god that provided this ONE MEAL in the last two thousand years for a crowd of people listening to a talk - then what about the numerous famines since then? I mean as far as deities go god is looking a little negligent.Yes it did! you not heard the one about the loaves and the fishes?
Technically it was his immaculate born son. (Uh oh!) The beauty of turning up in times with little to no science was that the stupid people could be corralled into support for their new master and all get on board the somehow white guy in the middle east train. (remember, 2k years ago) now if those pesky barabus lovers and the roman bahhstards hadnt fiddled the game like an example of mark clattenburgs finest works (forget Machiavelli) then evergreen messiah would have his equivalent of nando's on every street and we'd all eat our fill for free nightly. The guy could turn water into wine, though when he walked on water it didnt turn. trick missed there like.IF this is true and there is a god that provided this ONE MEAL in the last two thousand years for a crowd of people listening to a talk - then what about the numerous famines since then? I mean as far as deities go god is looking a little negligent.
You still hold out a grudge against me because of my comments why Czechia women's team was bad at football?Andrew Tate or @emir?
I very much believe adultery is a huge sin but I don't have to necessarily believe or follow the punishment that's prescribed. I don't follow the scriptures word to word, but it gives me guidance which is what I need.I'm curious as to which scriptures you adhere to and which you choose to ignore. As in what I asked below...
