There may well be a god, God or gods...but it doesn't appear to actively partake in our lot on here.
We have to make our own bed, and some of us will have rotten luck. There's billions of people in the world, and many of them are in poverty, many die way before their time: some of them are believers, some not...it doesn't appear to make much difference, even if a poor man of faith will believe himself richer than a wealthy agnostic.
Utimately we make our own beds, preferably out of earshot of the Dinosaurs.
