He is very popular on the internet, but not necessarily liked as a person but everyone knows about him. I assure you that if I hadn't made this thread, you woukd've eventually found out about Andrew Tate.

I did a quick Google Trends research on this and he is more Googled right now than the most famous footballer in England Harry Kane, in the UK. He is definitely very popular with the masses and his name is spreading like wildfire.

You do understand that these comparisons mean nothing, yes? They are trends (hence my comparison to “nothing”), they are not indicators of meaningful popularity or of moral concern; they are generated and perpetuated by algorithms and small social networks. Recall a small bunch of reddit users influenced GameStop but that doesn’t mean they were a meaningful group of well-intentioned morally-guided people. They just happened to have hold of the search engine algorithms for a few days via networking.

Andrew Tate is a misogynist who blames rape victims for being raped. You are a disgusting human for promoting his views.

I'm not suggesting that Andrew Tate is a morally excellent person or a popular guy who is liked by the masses. I'm just stating that he is a well-known guy and people are aware of who he is, and I'm sure many of those despise him. That does not equate to being someone who is liked by everyone, which is something you seem to think I'm suggesting.

That video of his is very much undefendable. I do think some of his other clips are much more sensible and he keeps his composure but this video, he lacked all of it.

Probably because he was sat across from a woman who exposed him for being a hypocrite.

He seems like a very insecure, angry man and I've just read that his house was raided for a rape and human trafficking offence...

You say you're not promting his views, but you're linking videos of his content and suggesting that people should become aware of him. And he's 'very popular with the masses' despite a good number of people on this thread having no idea who he is.

He has some very extreme views such as the ones posted on this thread and I don't endorse any of those views, and I'm sure the public don't endorse those either. In isolation however, he has some videos where he is making sensible and reasonable talking points which is what attracts a lot of people to him.

I can assure you that I have no affiliation with Andrew Tate and I'm not part of his academy to promote him.

At the risk of invoking Godwin's law - Adolf Hitler was very well liked for many of his views. As it happened, there were also some of his views which were fundamentally repugnant. In hindsight, giving him his soundboard didn't end well for millions of people.
