I'm looking forward to Shapiro standing strong against cancel culture, snow flakes and those who would seek to stifle his freedom of speech, I mean obviously he won't just take it like a spineless little whiny right wing corporate bish right?
Its a clever mixture of idealism and opportunism on his part. He knows that the GOP is going to need to come to its senses, sooner rather than later. He can position himself as a party elder or if there is significant movement (including legislation changes) , maybe a viable candidate. One of things that baffles me is you hear Arnold speaking and you know he's already better than almost everyone Senate on the Republican side and, yet, he still considers himself a Republican. I don't understand how he can still call himself one afer seeing what it has devolved in to over the last decade..
They are either thick, desperate for attention or both. Imagine identifying yourself!!
He will (unbelievably) be 73 later this year. I think that’s a little late in life to try and move onto the national stage in politics. Also, as you mentioned, significant changes to eligibility would be required for it to even be on the table. Its a clever mixture of idealism and opportunism on his part. Trumpers would just say that Antifa planted the bombs.
The radicalization that's happening through social media and the reasoning behind it, is an issue that we really need to address in our society otherwise we are doomed.
I think you might change your mind if you ever see a million man march on Washington by fascist militias armed to the teeth. The only way you avoid that is by completely destroying their capability.I believe I do see the level of threat - I just don’t think that “do what the fascists would do to stop being overrun by fascists” is a particularly good argument.
Not convinced about that reasoning to be honest. The rioters getting their hands on members of congress was WAY too close a call for it to have been an intentional, planned strategic decision. Or if it was, it was a really bad one.
But hhhmm something about these boots appear to be very lickable, ay gang.
I'm not sure how you can be so even-handed over this. That was a violent coup attempt and you cant handle that with kid gloves. There's no equivalence of violence there on the day: in this instance, the violence of the state was fully justified in attempting to rebuff barbarism.
Can i ask, how do they explain their reasoning for this as antifa is more of an ideology than an actual group, are there other specific groups who follow the antifa way that the Trump numpties say are behind it?They are. It was all antifa.
