I figure at this point any comment about Trump is going to get Biden mention and any mention about Biden is going to get a Trump mention, might as well go and start something for this?

@RAFUH sorry if not good, you can lock/delete as needed.

We are roughly 2 months away from the November 3rd election for about a million positions around the US, top ones being for President, Senate and House of Representatives. Every state is slated to vote on that date.

Short of something astonishing (which can easily happen) it looks like Biden/Kamala will beat him. Trump's base is more devoted than ever but has undoubtedly shrunk from what it was 4 years ago.

People will vote for Dems more as a protest against Don, not because they want to go back to how things used to be. Then I expect the Republicans win again 2024 when the pendulum swings back the other way.

I still don't get the idea of a black rapper running for president?
He's not. The guy has always had mental issues, hated the last Republican president because "he don't care about black people" but loves this one who is openly racist?

He's strictly there to "split the black vote" which makes me think that Trump still thinks black people in America are both gullible and absolutely stupid.

A Republican president hasn't won the popular vote since 2004. I don't see this changing.

I'm interested on two levels:

1/ the election is crucial for Americans looking to have a serious Big Government response to an existential issue like Covid19 - and I hope for their sakes that Biden wins, because if they dont they're going to be stuck with a clueless butcher who'll go for 'herd immunity' and 4 million dead

2/ the election outcome is crucial to us here in Britain. If there are serious players in the White House again then this murdering 'kin clown and his cohorts over here will be denied an important ally for their own policies. Johnson's fortunes will be dictated to by Trump's

Trump winning again would be catastrophic for any global environmental action

This is very important There seems to be a cross over between Brexit voters and Trump voters (not all, just some).
If America re-elects Trump, there'll be serious civil disorder and instability, the markets might continue to roar but everything else will go to absolute crap. If you wan't Brexit to succeed you better hope Biden wins because if it's Trump, he'll tear the heart out of the UK in the process of wrecking the US.

it’s not a crossover of voters, it’s Murdoch

Stay focused on these important dates:

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 – Election Day
Monday, December 14, 2020 – Electors cast their electoral votes
Wednesday, January 6, 2021 – Congress counts and certifies the electoral votes
Wednesday, January 20, 2021 – Inauguration Day

This will not be a normal transition. No matter who you support, you are not going to like what's coming.

Brexit voters have the same DNA as the MAGA hat wearing chimps.
