You said right, it is a cult and they have been brainwashed like no other. My mother in law who is a Trump supporter (to my husband and my dismay) was posting on Facebook a few days ago how Trump still is working tireless for the American people. I'm like for ffs is she crazy or what? The guy just disrupted the much needed financial help that was included in the stimulus package, has vandalized our democracy with his baselessly claims of a rigged election, has been pardoning people instead of focusing on real work, and for the past few days all he has done is golfing and throw tantrums on Twitter so I'm not sure how anyone can claim he is working hard for America. It just puzzles me how he has managed to indoctrinate so many people with his lies.
