Biden shouldn't.

The President, any President, shouldn't be laying a figurative finger on the scale of justice one way or another, but especially for political rivals. That is all part of the norms that Trump has obliterated. POTUS should never be involved in the legal process.
No, he shouldn't be tipping the scales anywhere, but saying "we need to move on and heal" is absolutely the wrong message to send to the guy who broke just about every law.

Yep, excellent point well said.

I was going to bring him up but I decided to stick with the simpler more obvious points.
Especially for a guy who thinks big tech favor the left. Going into this detail wasn't worth it especially when I was in a hurry haha!

I have actually met him and several others in "big tech".

It is an industry I am in.

They all sit on the fence because they have too. To get tax breaks and what they want they need to look impartial. People who suggest otherwise clearly don't know how it works and buy into too many dumb conspiracies.

Also like you said they hire career politicians and business men to help them do that. In most cases those guys may have worked on the Republican side of the aisle. In fact I know another of them have.

Haha know you’re audience I think the saying is mate? I suppose if you’re in that industry somebody telling you how that industry works who’s outside it is a little like you telling your doctor what’s wrong with you before he’s had a chance to asses you.

You’ve met Kaplan? What’s he like? Yer I don’t think I’d go as far as to say they sit on the fence because of anything to do with their own agendas or beliefs more rather what helps grow their revenues or helps their bottom line.

That podcast I posted you might enjoy mate, they go into a fair bit of detail around it all which for somebody like me that isn’t involved in that industry was interesting. I work in Anti Money laundering and stocks and securities fraud so it’s interesting to get an insight into that world for a layman in it. They go into a lot of detail around it’s overseas operations in non western countries and their appalling record of for lack of a better word facilitating heinous crimes, at the very least doing nothing to stop them and getting away with it as the US government doesn’t have the oversight or want to stop anything like that happening outside their boarders with non influential allies

Haha! Sorry if that came across as snide haha! It wasn't my intention haha!

I must give it a listen the podcast that is.

When I say sit on the fence I mean support wise. Practically you are right they don't care how they come across. Especually when they actually want and need something they are pretty clear. Especially a man like Kaplan. There are so many more like him. Most of them are sound enough but crossing them or disagreeing with them is risky. Especially if you are trying to achieve something.

While I disagree with things he has done in the past and some of what he represented i had no issue with him and he seemed like a sound guy. He knows what he wants and expects the same of anyone he is dealing with. I got the sense he hates indecisiveness haha!

I have to say I have dealt with worse than him haha!

I don't have the time now but ill pm you the reason we met to give you an idea when I have time. Also I don't want to go off track in this thread haha!

It is going to be a tough balance as I want Biden to reset norms which means POTUS doesn't comment on cases or tell the FBI who to investigate.
Pick the right AG - that choice alone could send the message - then stay out of it.

Corporate democrats throughout the years have been responsible for coups and staged coups in Latin America.

“I win Michigan!” genuinely made me laugh.

People honestly wonder what he's actually trying to say. There are many more eligible voters than votes in Detroit and Michigan so his poorly made point is probably trying to question the fact that there were more voters than the number registered before the election, which is easily explained in Michigan as it was in Wisconsin, by the fact they allow same day registration.
Someone should really try to get a hold of him and answer all his stupid question and slap him down with the truth for an hour or so.

haha no problem mate would be good to hear about it.

I didn’t come across snide at all, I was talking in reference to who you’d originally posted to actually mate ha.

I can imagine dealing with somebody of his ilk requires treading on eggshells if you have something you’re trying to achieve from dealing with him. I wonder how connected to the party he still is, I wonder if he acts as some sort of inside man for the Republican Party in any capacity. I suppose you don’t get to that position and not be able to communicate what you want, I’ve worked with high level CEOs before and everyone of them has that expectancy of those around them. They operate in such a high level they expect everyone else to be able to do the same

That's just it. The spineless dopes that work for him won't dare question him.

There is also the fact that first thing in the morning he watches Trump leaning shows and repeats their nonsense before anyone has seen him that day.

Trump is literally that friend/family member everyone has on social media who shares and retweets everything and believes most of it. Especially if it suits their lifestyle/agenda.

As for the GOP they made it clear along time ago that their stance (excuse) was we the general public should all ignore his Twitter feed as his own internal ramblings. Despite it being the official account for the Potus.
