No. With all due respect, I won't simply accept that I have to play the game better. I've argued for decades about the inherently undemocratic nature of the EC and the Founder's dislike of the system and will not be told that I have to accept it. That's not a shot at you, specifically. It's my position with anyone who argues the position you are taking. Defending the EC is the equivalent of telling someone they have to accept second-class status or that someone is granted preferential status based solely on where they live and I'm not going to do it. I hope you will join me.
Meanwhile, despite the inherent unfairness of the system that skews the EC to the Republican Party, if things hold in coming days the Democratic Party will have won the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 elections and captured the Presidency in 5 of 8. Despite the unfairness that I will argue is massively contributing to ripping the country apart, the success record of the Democratic Party is rather impressive.
