hello buddy yes i am sure the alternative will work out just fine.

Your missing my point, I hate Trump with a passion but respected US political reporters are stating that a senate loss would severely hamper Biden and enable GOP to carry out more gerrymandering, implement more conservitive judges etc.

Basically winning the presidential race but not the senate is a bit of a disaster. Of course Trump and a GOP senate is even worse.

If Biden narrowly wins the presidency, and the democrats lose the senate and probably the house, its going to be a worst case scenario for the democrats.

Then Biden wont be able to do much for years, yet all the republicans will be incensed over him "stealing" the election and hold that anger until the next election, and he will have 4 years to be an insane senile person while the republicans will be able to put up someone who appears amazingly rational compared to Trump.

I'd be amazed if they dont keep the house.

Agreed, neither are even close to fit-for-purpose or fair, but since 2010 (when I turned 18) we’ve literally had permanent Tory rule, which is guaranteed to last at least 15 years during which they have systematically ruined the country for all other than the über wealthy.

Agreed, and such a voting system coupled with an electorate without a shred of class consciousness and an impressive inability to disseminate biased narratives from the Murdoch, Rothermere, and Barclay-owned news outlets is a very deadly combination...
