There's no third party candidate and the country is more energised politically and the postal ballots have help[ed both candidates (though not in equal measure).

A quick calculation of PA, I have factored in a 10% on projected numbers (worth noting that Detroit showed close to a 15% swing recently) to early ballots, but was more cautious and went for a 10% swing. It has Dems winning 537k ish votes. They are 610k ish behind. So not quite enough. If they match the swing shown in parts of Michigan it will be enough. But very close either way.

If they swing Philly and Pittsburgh 15% (as like Detroit) and the rest 10% then they are within about 2k votes. So very close.
