No seriously mate, Sanders would have been decimated. Only reason Biden is in this race is because he's took some votes from the Trump base in terms of white/elderly.

Throw an all-out socialist in as Trump's opponent instead and it'd be a bloodbath - Trump would have painted him as Lenin and would have won comfortably.

Sanders would have definitely resulted in a Trump win. America is a bit like Britain in that they both lean slightly centre right (comparatively speaking in the US). The centre left is fairly close to the centre right on the political spectrum and that's why labour tend to win when they are more centrist. Sanders is too left to win the level of support needed for the presidency and would have ensured Trump won.

The left need to be more pragmatic to win and that's why Biden was a safe choice. I don't think he's going to be a great president by any means but the more radical alternatives wouldn't have won.

In fairness to Trump there have been absolutely no allegations made against hin with regards to having sex with minors through Epstein, right? Could very well be a very poor choice at a very rich friend. In anything the Democrats, DEFINITELY the Clintons, are much more closely liked to him. And we've all seen the videos of Joe sniffing girls' hair, touching them somewhat inappropriately in front of the cameras, almost Savile-like in its brazenness.

Trump puts his hands on his eldest daughters ass though.

It's very hard to cover all of it, but Biden has just won 93% is (so around an 88 net) from Wayne County. They still have 37% left and so aroun 350-400k worth of voters. That gives him anywhere from 325k-350k ish to dd to his total in Michigan which puts him around 300k in the lead.

I appreciate there are some areas around that are more pro Red, but the absentee ballot (or at least that one) was up from aroujnd 65% to 95% for Biden. So really anything where Biden is over 35% of projected vote, you'd say he is adding to votes. The areas are also much smaller that are outstanding for Republicans. I will have have a quick glance at the rest of Michigan, but on first viewing, he should be ok there if the votes from Wayne County match what they were just then.

Just like in the UK, the left need to get in power by pragmatism and then focus on equity - improving lives for all across the board. Because they aren't trusted electorally, quite clearly aren't.

Instead, they're rioting and trying to elect rampant socialists in countries averse to rampant socialism. Stupid.

Trump soon, hopefully
