It's very hard to cover all of it, but Biden has just won 93% is (so around an 88 net) from Wayne County. They still have 37% left and so aroun 350-400k worth of voters. That gives him anywhere from 325k-350k ish to dd to his total in Michigan which puts him around 300k in the lead.

I appreciate there are some areas around that are more pro Red, but the absentee ballot (or at least that one) was up from aroujnd 65% to 95% for Biden. So really anything where Biden is over 35% of projected vote, you'd say he is adding to votes. The areas are also much smaller that are outstanding for Republicans. I will have have a quick glance at the rest of Michigan, but on first viewing, he should be ok there if the votes from Wayne County match what they were just then.

Just to add, at a really quick and tired glance, suspect Trump gets maybe 25k mximum 30k from all other areas in Michigan, gaint Bides 325-350k. I haven't tried to work out any discounting given it's early voting on those numbers, just roughly calculated the existing vote for the remainder (which will likely be too pro Trump).

Essentially though, Biden is 50k behind, may lose 30k but if the rest of Wayne County remains consistent will give him 300k+ so enough to take Michigan.

In fairness to Trump there have been absolutely no allegations made against hin with regards to having sex with minors through Epstein, right? Could very well be a very poor choice at a very rich friend. In anything the Democrats, DEFINITELY the Clintons, are much more closely liked to him. And we've all seen the videos of Joe sniffing girls' hair, touching them somewhat inappropriately in front of the cameras, almost Savile-like in its brazenness.

For every vote that Sanders would have got from a boosted black vote, Trump would have got three from a panicked white vote.

It's like the Corbyn effect magnified. The US wouldn't have tolerated the prospect of Sanders. Hell, Biden just got basically painted as Fidel Castro reincarnated in Florida and people believed it, costing him in Miami-Dade - it would have been 10x worse for Sanders.

I wonder how much that fear got exploited anyone though, and if there was any more mileage in it? I men the numbers have already broken quite heavily.

If whatever candidate you put forward oses votes on account of them being called a socialist, you may as well get the uptick of hving a socialist who can actually motivate your own side a bit more. Or so the theory may go, crass though it is.
