Does anyone have any news on this? All i know is that he has signed a 2 year contract with Sydney in last couple of days. Would quite like a look at him in the league, wouldnt be to expensive either....

I don't think he's signed a new contract, looks like he's just gunna stick out the current one until 2013. Sounds a promising lad though, mates with Cahill and from all reports has a good attitude. Here's another article about his situation.

He's not that far behind Barkley in terms of development and potential. Class above anyone else in the Sydney line up bar and aging Emerton and the dogged Nicky Carle. Definatley a local wonderkid.

If Antonis is as good a prospect as Barkley, then he already has a value in the millions of pounds. If this were the case I would have expected clubs all over the world to be waving contracts under his nose which would be impossible to resist, this doesn't appear to be happening.I think he is 18 now, high time to be making a mark in the game.I fear he may be more Adu than Rooney.

He was pursued by some big clubs when he was younger. I wouldn't say he's as good a prospect as Barkley is either.

Remember this boy? Was recommended by Timmy Cahill few yrs back. Was out with a thigh injury for a few months but has come back looking a more complete player. It's obvious that he's been working hard on the defensive side of his game but also his shooting, as you will see in the following clips. According to wiki, we had signed him on 5-yr contract when he was 14 (now 20) but that was terminated by FIFA due to a technicality. I think he would be worth having another look.
