Antonis is VERY far above those players in terms of talent

That's a verrrrryyyy big call. They all have the potential to develop into superstars, they are all still very young. It's so hard to make a judgement now as to how good they will be, but the point im trying to make is that if they reach their potential they will be excellent players.

Not a big call at all, mate. I've watched most of those players for some time now, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Antonis is head-and-shoulders above them. His technique, vision and long shot ability is phenomenal for an Australian player.

Speculation has linked him with Inter Milan and Marseille already, but it's the connection with Everton - and the growing bond with Tim Cahill - that puts the Merseyside club in the box seat for a future bid.

''I couldn't say if or when Everton will make an offer, but it's fair to say it [a bid] is likely to happen at some point because there's a relationship there,'' Karis said.
Another GOT reader...

Was at the Wellington Phoenix vs. Sydney game this afternoon (I live in Wellington) and Antonis played for Sydney. He got subbed after about an hour, which I thought was harsh on him because he actually had some tidy touches in what was otherwise a pretty poor performance from Sydney.

He didn't waste the ball, looked very happy in possession and was one of the few of their players who weren't constantly giving the ball away. Was relieved when he got subbed. Certianly some potential in the lad.

mick lyons has brought a young kid over from auss ,the kids training at finch farm ,think hes the aussies u16 captain
yeah heard that on the radio yesterday,he was playing in a behind closed doors friendly yesterday wasnt he lyons said, but he has to go back to play in Australia next weekend

Said it before and I've said it again - if we can drudge through the next 5 or so years without going down, we'll be absolutely immense after that with all these kids coming of age.

Terry Antonis is too old to be u16s capt isn't he ? At least his wiki page says he is 18. In any event would b happy to sign him. Odd to fly from oz for just one game with jet lag. We must have signed him.

(just the way my head works)
