You could also say Coleman has been responsible for 2 goals recently. Of course Baines is better than Martina, its his position! Though defensively hmmm...maybe.

Funnily enough Allardyce's best run came without them in the side...

It is pointless putting in provisos when discussing records really though. The taking out the top 7 teams thing above is a bit weird.

He will be gone in the summer anyway! I don't know why people are getting so worked up. Everything will be fine.
If you don’t think Baines is a better defender that Martina then I can’t help you.
Baines would be twice the right full that Martina is.
Martina was brought in as third choice RF and ended up first choice ( due to injury ) left full
I don’t blame Martina , I blame Walsh / Koeman

Soz mate, didnt realise you were mucking about! Deleted the warning.
Thanks! I tried to reply to your warning PM but there wasn't the option! I was just taking the [naughty language here] out of the OP. :p

Agree mate, getting Coleman and Baines back not only improves the defence but it should improve the attack, which it hasn’t done

I personally think Baines is a terrible defender. Good footballer of course.

Martina is all on Koeman. He is Koeman's boy.

It hasn’t improved the attack because IMO our midfield is too slow and ponderous and doesn’t get foreard quick enough.
Barkley for all his faults could take the bill from box to box fairly quickly

Is that ignoring that Koeman had the top 6 and Leicester (most away from home) in those first 14 games? Allardyce has had by far an easier run of fixtures and done marginally better. A lighter shade of...

Games against the top 6:

Koeman/Unsworth - City (A), Chelsea (A), Spurs (H), United (A), Arsenal (H) - 5 - 3 away, 2 at home
Allardyce - Liverpool (A), Chelsea (H), United (H), Spurs (A), Arsenal (A), Man City (H), Liverpool (H) - 7 - 3 away, 4 at home

That stats wrong.....

Everton Goal conceded before Coleman and Bains where back 28 afterward 26, nowt to do with Sam

Well it's not wrong as they are the statistics before Allardyce came in, and since he's been here. Allardyce took over before Huddersfield on 2nd December. We played 10 league games under Allardyce before Coleman played on the 31st January. Baines got injured against Southampton in November and did not play again until March against Brighton. That's 15 games that Allardyce was without him.

Coleman and Baines coming back explains that

See above. Absolutely no idea where you have both got this Coleman and Baines thing from?

English international
On Uniteds radar a few times , I think a lot of people would disagree with you

That means nothing. He is a very good footballer and is/was a great attacking threat.

His defending has always been weak. That's not even a knock on him, it's just the type of player he is.

Agree with this. We miss having a player like Barkley. Our midfield is far too static.

Sadly nothing surprises me.

My Dad hated Steven Pienaar and made me nearly choke on my dinner one night when he said David O'Leary should replace Moyes.

It must be an over 50s thing lol

No way, Tim.

I am over 50 and think your arl fella wants locking up if he thinks like that :pint2:

Find it truly staggering that anyone can look at our performances and results since Sam came in and come to the conclusion that he’s done a good job. If you’re happy with what he’s done, and are happy to see him in charge going forward, then you don’t deserve nice things and have vastly different expectations for our club than I do.
