Talksport and Fake Everton fans

Do you read the opinions on here they are totally diverse and random.
Are you unhappy because their opinions(I have not heard them so I don't know what they are) are different to your own ?

Is this not a bit Trumpesque ?
Is that not the point he's making though? That these opinions aren't diverse, and are all in favour of Allardyce? And that as he is under the impression (as am I) that the vast majority of Everton fans are not supportive of the manager, this seems rather suspect?

Just to be clear, i'm not saying they are plants, only that I understand the reason for the question.

So the last few days I've been listening to talksport and i noticed there 2-3 Everton fans on daily, however they seem to totally disagree with what the majority of us think, an i'm starting to think there all fake.

An example, there talking about the survey and an "Everton fan phoned us" He then proceed to say Sam done a fine job he signed Tosun, is that how you say his name? he should be given summer and Jan
He used words like them or they when referring to Everton. He isn't the 1st one to say stuff like that and i'm wondering Have any of you been on talksport and do you think these are Liverpool fans or actually Everton fans phoning in?

The way the phone in works, is that the caller is put onto a " researcher " who listens to what they have to say and then decides whether or not to put them on air. In other words, if it doesn`t fit the agenda on the day or it`s boring, they`re politely binned.

They need opposing views from callers, otherwise the phone in would be dull and people would either switch off or change channels, which means they don`t listen to the adverts, which is what it`s really all about.

Due to " stacking " the callers, they can steer the phone in any way they want > more pro callers or more anti callers.

Last week they had a free for all on Allardyce, as did the media in general. This week it seems that they`re having a bit of an Allardyce love in.

Plus, Allardyce is a " friend of the show ", which translates into the fact that they know he`s generally disliked across the board, talks bollocks and is an arrogant c**t, so they`ll get loads phoning in > what they want.

It`s up to us, to let them know that the majority of the fans at Everton never wanted him and still don`t want him.

Keep the faith brother.

Oh look Everton fans doing that thing that everyone does so well in society these days where if you don't get behind a cause that the mob is campaigning for and have a difference of opinion you become the target of snidey abuse and called the opposite to what you really are in the hope the tag sticks and you change your opinion through being pressured on social media.#iwannabeawankertoo!

Need a massive banner in the Gwladys but it won't happen. We'll just boo for 0.5 seconds then clap them off after each meek performance. I notice even Frauderlin is getting applause nowadays; that didn't last long did it ffs.

@Joey66 can you translate ?

Thats interesting that!
I've heard this argument about the media being anti Everton before, but wonder why they would do that?
and why would non-Everton fans phone up and campaign for the club and Allardyce. I'm not surprised by anything though, if Allardyce had people doing that just for his ego and his PR and then used it for his next job which is probably in a relegation threatened Chinese Premier league club.

Everton fans for sure. I'm a very staunch everton fan and I strongly feel Sam should be given at least another season to show what he can do.

I do feel like I'm in the minority but that's because a lot of others who feel the same as me get showered with abuse for having an opinion. I honestly think there are a large number of supporters who also agree Sam should be given a chance to at least see out his contract.

The way I see it is that he has us in the top half in the table and a good chance of finishing 8th. When he took over we were getting beaten easily and by some poor teams too and were seriously looking in trouble of relegation. He has steadied the ship and with a couple of more signings he can push us on.

The football we are currently playing is a necessity to get results given the quality of players at our disposal. If you disagree just look at the kind of results we got before Sam took over when the team played with more freedom. He knows what we need to move forward next season but unfortunately because most it seems want him out we will have to start again with a 'fonseca' type. Who easily could be the next Pellgrino of Southampton and see us struggle.

But no let's try with the untested and start all over again and sack Sam while Sams in prime position to know exactly what we need to move forward.
I respectfully disagree. I would get rid.

This is a sign of the times...

The noisy few drowning the thoughts of the many....

And that would affect whether we were relegated or not because..?

The Atalanta one is another one that needs context though. We put out a reserve side, in a dead rubber, in a half empty stadium, and conceded 3 in the last 4 minutes when a young team's head went collectively and they were targeting an 18 year old centre half making his debut out of position. It was horrible, but it was no more evidence of a spiralling problem than the Watford and Palace games were of a never say die attitude and determination to get results.

I never thought we would be certainties for relegation but anyone who doesn't acknowledge we were struggling massively and could have ended up in a potential relegation battle is either deluding themselves or has a selective memory.

We were conceding 2+ a game (did so for 9 consecutive games), the system wasn't working, the players effort was questionable and we were being comfortably dealt with by sides that we should have been doing better against. We also had relegation away form and the 3rd most goals conceded in the league even after the 4-0 West Ham win - i.e a relegation level defence.

If you want to overlook the 5-1 Atalanta game fine, but what about the away game? Our defence got absolutely terrorised by Andrea Petagna who was given MOTM. He scored 5 in 34 last season, and has 4 in 28 this, and a number of our fans, including myself were thinking he must be a decent striker given how easily he bullied our defence. Truth is he's bang average and our weak defence got given the run around by him.

We had lost 5 games in 7 under Unsworth when Moshiri decided to go with Allardyce. If you take out the 2 qualifiers against Ruzomberok and Split who let's be honest are not playing at a high standard, as well as the Sunderland Cup game as they're the worst side in the Championship, you can see how bad a situation we were in.

5 wins in 20, after discounting the games against sides i'd expect our Under 23's to beat.

I don't think Sam is to blame for our current situation (that is Koeman and whoever is responsible for a dreadful summer of transfers), I also don't see him as being the person to get us out of it. He is not interested in building a legacy, proving himself, building his career or in Everton football club. Sam came out of retirement for a big cheque to do what he must have believed should be a relatively simple job of keeping Everton from relegation. The board don't see him as the long term solution hence only offering 6 months initially. I shudder to think that we would offer him a large transfer kitty to build a team in his mould before leaving that squad to a new manager.

Find it truly staggering that anyone can look at our performances and results since Sam came in and come to the conclusion that he’s done a good job. If you’re happy with what he’s done, and are happy to see him in charge going forward, then you don’t deserve nice things and have vastly different expectations for our club than I do.
The problem is Sam fed this line about SAVING EVERTON, an people believe it, he took over after 14 games and 5 points clear of the bottom 3 with 24 games to go, it’s a bigger MIRACLE then coming back from 2-0 down against Wimbledon

if he stays for another season we will likely be just about exactly where we are now, is that good enough for you ? it isnt for most evertonians. much better to try someone different and see how it goes, there is nothing to lose.

i hope that wasnt too abusive.
