I just dont know why people get vexed about the drive show. We all know what it is. If you dont like it dont listen. Durham is doing his job by us even discussing it. Turn to 5live instead. If people stopped listening they will soon change their style of show

Got to say that I for one have started to listen to Keys and Grey on their weekday slot from 10 to 1 I think it is.
Last couple of days they have had some good guests on such as Frank Lampard and Kevin Campbell and Andy Grey only has good things to say about Everton.
Now don't get me wrong, there might be some right tools on there as well, so if you don't like it then turn it off. Yes the adverts get right on my tits but at least I now know where i can get some cheap building supplies!
As for a match day coverage I usually tune into radio 5, but that has it's bell ends as well, so you can't win them all just some of the time!

tend to listen for same reason, some guests are well worth listening to and radio 5 sports coverage doesn't really start unless what they consider to be a big game is on. just annoyed that the biggest t**ts are on when I have want something on in background. Think there is a lot of winding up but that isn't really what goes on with us, it seems more dismissive and vicious. No-one seems to be allowed an opinion that doesn't suggest all our players are on their way and we can't stay near the top. Alan Brazil actually cuts ex players off for disagreeing with him. only thing that worries me was the Moyes to Spurs lie that started with a lie on twitter from one of their journalists and was carried on by Brazil against all the information coming out that said it was a lie. huge money went on it. at the moment he manages to mention that Fellaini is going every chance he gets. I would be investigating this guy for dodgy practices like a shot.
Positive spin is that we are probably the biggest threat to the cosy status quo of money mad clubs so need putting in our place. Just wish there was an alternative to listen to a bit of football chat in the morning. will take a break in the summer though or go mad.

I remember when it was Talk Radio and Alistair McGowan used to present in the mornings. Was not bad then.

Few years back, I was listening and they were reading out emails from this person and that person. The people who sent these emails were all WWE wrestlers of the time, so obviously people were winding them up back then! Stuff like Brett Hart has emailed in to say that Blair doesn't even know where Newcastle is on the map etc. I phoned in to mention it, they kept me hanging on for so long, my credit ran out o my new fangled pay as you go mobile.

Over here in the states, I listen to talksport through Internet radio getting ready before work. Lucky for me, that means I'm listening to keys and grey, and I've always thought the same thing. Andy is quick to defend the club and point out when and how it acts with class. The ads annoy me, but as someone who isn't familiar with British media, ifigured that was just the style.

I had heard others complain about ts before and never understood it. I guess that is because keys and grey appear to be far more exception than the rule there. Glad to know.

turned on talk sh*t this morning to hear the latest part of the Whelan/Kenwright soap opera and within two minutes Alan Brazil mentioned Fellaini going to Man U in an interview with someone who had no interest. I listen to this show about half hour three or four times a week, and in that time I hear Brazil drag Fellaini to Man U into every conversation he can. Don't want to get into discussion about whether this could happen, but it really does feel like he has some vested interest in it being out there as an idea, much more likely transfers barely get a mention. my head is too full of wild conspiracies anyway so if anyone has a reasonable theory then would like to hear

problem is we have a club full of ****houses and had a manager who never gave the media ****,

like has been said it doesnt happen to other clubs as they come out and hit the media back, Fergie never allowed the media to make ****e up about them and if they did he would ban them away, Redknapp hit out after modric left and suddenly its all "bale could stay at spurs" not "nah bale deffo off to xyz team" every week we bring it on our self

Kevin Campbell gave a good interview on H and J this afternoon.

He expressed the opinion that Everton have the players to "play a more expansive game" and that they should really be "scoring more goals" with the forward players thet have.........and that Martinez has a much better bunch of defenders to work with now so the defensive problems at Wigan should not be replicated at Goodison.

He says he is very excited about Martinez coming in as he feels Roberto "will be like a breath of fresh air".

Kevin went on to say how great a club EFC is and that he rarely comes across a former player with less than a kind word for it.

Same here. I adore listening to Roger Bennett on Men in Blazers before Talksport starts, though.
