Talking about England now. Doesn't consider Jagielka good enough to start consistently for England and reckons Cole is better than Baines.

It's run by loons for loons! Sack it and listen to some groovy tunes! I recommend Noah and the whale.

Rooney has to prove himself (despite all the goals and appearances) just because he hands in a transfer request. Doesn't consider him a match winner.

Laughable.

I got fed up with Adrian Durham (or should I say Dur-brain) and don't listen to it anymore. I'm amazed that he is still in a job as he spouts more rubbish than our Bill.

I tweeted Durham this from my GrandOldTeam account on the 3rd of May when he was talking about is.

@GOT_Mugs: @talkSPORTDrive Money buys success. Expecting Everton fans to call in and demand success shows just out of touch the media is with the club.

He tweeted back...

@talkSPORTDrive: @GOT_Mugs didn't expect Everton fans to do that at all. although a good number have said its about trophies

Why he bothered tweeting back I will never know...

That's all I got lads.

Durham is just a pure WUM

They don't mean anything they say, they do it so get people ringing up and disagreeing with them.

Why do people continue to talk about them like they're actually being sincere?

Not sure if this needs a new thread or a thread at all but am getting increasingly confused about Talksport coverage of Everton. I am used to Everton being patronised by Match Of The Day and The Mirror and the likes, but without sounding like a conspiracy theorist or whatever Talksport seems close to hostile to us. Hardly an hour goes by without someone saying that Fellaini, Baines and Jagielka are leaving. Not 'might be leaving'.. definitely leaving. They had half hour discussion on how it would be good for the league for most players to stay where they were for the close season, and that Suarez and Bale probably would, then ten minutes later it was the usual stuff about four or five Everton players who were on their way.
It is mentioned constantly that we are in the sh*t and will plummet to our natural place soon. No Evertonian has ever come on that I am aware of to express an alternative to this and a supposed blue has just been on saying we need to get real and employ someone as manager who fits our lowly image. Easy to stop listening but there is no other station with rolling sports news. Maybe they are like this with everyone outside the big four or five, but would like to know if anyone has ever got a message read out or anything on there that contradicts their warped view.

Talksport are right about us not being in our natural place. We should be 2 places higher in the league. Just because we haven't got a lot of money doesn't mean we should be lower in the table. By that logic spazzing money on sh1t players would get you in the CL each season, which we see with the RS, Newcastle, Stoke etc doesn't happen

We have been out the loop for years, older fans like me used to warn about us turning into a Coventry City (when they were in the top flight) a club of no real threat/interest just a complete non-entity - well it's happened.

No fcker gives a shte about EFC outside ourselves - if you don't compete you're just fodder for the "proper" clubs and the media and other fans treat you as such.

Look at our own fans regaling Moyes for what?..... avoiding relegation? respectability?

Just the way it is till someone comes along and wins something all this "challenging for europe" means nothing.

They had Dave Whelan on today

Amongst other things,
He said Martinez was the "best manager in Europe"
He also said that the gulf between Man United and Everton was the same as the gap between Everton and Wigan

What a tool shed

I'm glad he broke his leg in the cup final and his team lost 3-0, the gitsworth

Well, Whelan did call Everton a big club. Which he quickly ruined by calling Stoke a big club. Though he might have meant Stoke were all 6'5.

Got to say that I for one have started to listen to Keys and Grey on their weekday slot from 10 to 1 I think it is.
Last couple of days they have had some good guests on such as Frank Lampard and Kevin Campbell and Andy Grey only has good things to say about Everton.
Now don't get me wrong, there might be some right tools on there as well, so if you don't like it then turn it off. Yes the adverts get right on my tits but at least I now know where i can get some cheap building supplies!
As for a match day coverage I usually tune into radio 5, but that has it's bell ends as well, so you can't win them all just some of the time!
