I agree with both of them criticisms, the champions league shout was poor, but the league winning retort was amazing.

That's the kopite mindset neatly wrapped up. It's even more irritating when you realise that they haven't spotted the inconsistency. They genuinely think those two views are compatible with one another. Absolute mentalists.

Anyway, this CL place thing - it's not that crazy is it? We finished 6th this year. Spurs will probably lose Bale which should (could?) mean we'll finish above them and Arsenal seem to be regressing every year so we could fight it out with them. Especially if we keep everyone, the youngsters come on and we make a couple of astute signings.

There are many games last season where we could've got more points (reading away, both norwich games, villa home, purs away, chelsea home, liverpool home and away etc), it's hardly the most outlandish claim of all time ffs.
