Deulofeu would be lucky to get over 6 or 7 goals a season. A half bothered Kev will get you 10. We cannot let him go on the cheap thinking Lennon or Deulofeu will replace his output. We need to get him fit focussed and motivated with some quality players around him. He's one of the few game changers we have.
His form for Barca B suggests that deulofeu is capable of scoring regularly. We will see though(if he eventually signs!)

I want a centre back rather then a no 10 to be honest. We were woefull at the back for large chunks of last season, due to injury fatiuqe and loss of form.

I would also want a playmaker rather than a no 10 BTW also.

You like half bothered players in royal blue?

I think mirralas only got double figures once in 3yrs I know he had some injuries

Del got 4 goals in something like 11/12 starts I know he came of the bench in a lot of games
But it's not easy to come on for 15/10 minutes

He got 18 goals for barca B as an 18yr old playing on the wing

I think your talking rubbish to say he'd be lucky to get 6/7 goals

How do you think kev would have done as a 19yr old playing in the prem getting only a dozen starts

Deulofeu's finishing was quite poor when he was with us. He could score spectacular goals, but if he was one on one with the keeper he often hit it straight at him. Finishing can be worked on, though. I've no doubt if he plays regularly he'll score his fair share of goals.

i wouldn't sell mirallas either. i don't think we'd ever recoup his true value.

not arsed about the "inconsistency" branded about. if he wasn't then he wouldn't be here, simple as that - he'd be at hazard's level, playing for a hazard level club costing a hazard level fee.

keep him for one more year we could have a great season if we do good transfer business and that may make him want to stay.

Would you keep him against his wishes until his contract runs down?

I think that Mirallas is a good player , we will miss any good player who leaves the squad but he is very replaceable.
Deulofeu is still a youngster and has the potential to be a far better player than Mirallas can ever be.

Kevin Mirallas came to us from Olympiakos and the name being mentioned as his next club is Monaco. I don't see that as a big step forward in his career .In football circles I don't think he would be regarded as a top player, talented , yes but too unpredictable, too selfish and not enough workrate. I think that last year he was playing for a move rather than playing for Everton and I firmly believe he is gone unless no decent club will meet the asking price.

Lennon is more a team player than Mirallas. Ask Seamus Coleman which player he would prefer playing with. I think it would be Lennon and I am not at all certain that Lennon will be at Everton next season.

F P.
I think there might be a big problem if a club came in that he really fancied. We have seen already what happened in January and what Mirallas said about it. I think he might well refuse to play.
If he did, let him rot with the u21 team. I don't think he would. Personally I'd offer him a new contract. If he wants one or not is a different matter.
