When the window shuts I suspect Everton will have spent £150m +/- 10% and added £40/45m to our amortisation in doing so. The fact that if it plays out like that it will be mainly spent on potential and mid-level PL veterans is sobering.

For the money being spent, I expect the so-called elite players to be honest. Higher calibre.

No, there won't be a £40m 'up front' cost; the fixed part of any deal will be paid in installments (as 90% of transfers are).

The negotiation is over the breakdown of the fee : fixed +/- add-ons

it could help if we see Dibling, Deswbury Hall and a right back in the Titanic. Remember the good old days Carlo was pictured with James, Doucoure and Allan .
Really curious whether those deals Moyes was talking about includes advancing on a right back this week. With Patterson injured and Coleman nowhere to be seen near a football pitch anymore getting a right back done soon is more and more crucial.
