Moyes is a manager who's ceiling is "steady the ship." Ancelotti would steady the ship whilst simultaneously raising our profile and moving us forwards. He was a manager we were lucky to have, at a time when the club was embarking on implosion. Under the new owners, with the proper backing, I think he'd be great for us and put us on a very firm footing for the next manager.I want us to go for a young coach who feasibly could manage us for 5 to 10 years. The one exception to that though, would be Carlo.
Probably not what we really need but I would love to see him come back and be given proper backing to go and win something.
Will most likely be a free agent after the world Cup.
Patterson and Aznou are attacking full backs, they may not be top drawer but they give us better width and link up play with the wide men up the pitch. You're right there's wealthy sides looking for that unicorn manager so I'm not saying it's straightforward finding the right coach but going forward we need to change the mindset of the club and playing style as employing the likes of Dyche and Moyes means you're just treading water under the guise of stability. As for recruitment I think it's too early to judge our recruitment team as they are new to working with each other so there needs to be patience whilst they adapt to each other and the roles in which they have in the recruitment processThere's some wealthy sides looking for that unicorn manager atm.
And we don't have attacking fullbacks, in fact we barely have any fullbacks at all.
Wins would cover a lot of ills, hell, goals would cover some of the same ills. But bill and ben the stationary flowerpot men aint cutting the mustard.
£60M down on Thiago? Bring Robinson home (should never have let him leave, considering they were begging Kenny to stay).
Our recruitment policy and proceeding fallout is like that of a problem gambler, just desperate to end up penniless.
We need back to basics, the support wont like yet another reset but they keep clamouring for reset after reset when the flavour of the month goes stale and tries yet another reset.
Sooner the fans are ignored and a ruthless streak is incorporated the better. They don't like it, don't turn up. See ya!
I mention him as he's on the RS shortlist for their potential next manager so that indicates he has a high ceilingDefinitely also someone worth considering. Impressive record in Germany. Brought success to midtable clubs by playing entertainment attacking football, similar to Motta at Bologna.
Ended up unearthing a lot of gems at Hoffenheim and Stuttgart, though I have no idea how much thats to do with him or the scouting departments at those clubs.
Who is your choice of manager ?I pad trouble on my main computer now .....
Dibling, Aznou, Patterson, even his comments about Armstrong coming back were hardly motivating for a young player- it smacked of ‘yeah, we’re desperate, I’ll send him straight back when I get the chance.’ I know that might be the plan but they were hardly words of encouragement for someone looking to make a good impression.Who are you thinking about? Not being aggresive. Just interested
Lee Carsley young ideas with Baines alongside him .... they know how the game should be played or just a younger manager like at Bournemouth etc ...Who is your choice of manager ?
Patterson was binned by Dyche.Patterson and Aznou are attacking full backs, they may not be top drawer but they give us better width and link up play with the wide men up the pitch. I said in another thread, one big reason to maybe make the change before the end of the season would be to get a headstart on other clubs. RS, City, Utd and Spurs all will be changing managers in summer and likely looking at a lot of the same people we are going to want.I mention him as he's on the RS shortlist for their potential next manager so that indicates he has a high ceiling
A coach that has us playing on the front foot and sets out to win games, speaks positively and shows some flexibility and signs of progression, that gives us some belief would be backed imo, it’s what we’re crying out for.I think whoever is appointed won't be given a chance by the fans unfortunately.
Were chasing Moyes out now despite his top players missing and us going out on pens against a team who are on a par with us.
No matter who comes in, the stench of Everton supporters will put pay to them.
Xhaka is coaching that team.
I would need to see him without Xhaka to make an assessment on him.
