Can't wait for the 'only person available' in a year or so to be an ex-PL crap manager so we can go "wow he's so dreamy" at managers taken from Spain and Germany again while we stay mad at our choice.
I think Thomas Frank, Iraola, and Howe are proving that the grass isn't always greener and those are names I've seen thrown around a lot in the last year.In all fairness, this was never a Moyes out thread. More just keeping track of options as the PL managerial carousel spins.
I had previously wanted us to make a change in summer, but if Moyes gets us Europe he obviously should be given the chance to have a crack at it. Unless there's an opportunity that's too good to miss, but that's unlikely.

If we replaced Moyes with Iraola I'd windmill on my roof for about 24 hours straightI think Thomas Frank, Iraola, and Howe are proving that the grass isn't always greener and those are names I've seen thrown around a lot in the last year.
Frank I've been shocked by this season I have to say. Spurs a circus for sure but he seems way out of his depth. The thing the other day saying post match that the Romero red card was out of character for his game, only to be told by the journo that he has the most reds for spurs in PL history. Ultimately meaningless but makes him look very daft.I think Thomas Frank, Iraola, and Howe are proving that the grass isn't always greener and those are names I've seen thrown around a lot in the last year.
In what way? Obviously Frank is struggling at Spurs but the other two have clearly done a very good job overall at their clubs, I don't see how they would be evidence of the grass not being greener in any way shape or form?I think Thomas Frank, Iraola, and Howe are proving that the grass isn't always greener and those are names I've seen thrown around a lot in the last year.
Not good enough imoThe fortunes and acceptability of management candidates can go up as well as down, and we already have threads about potential player acquisitions, so why not the manager?
Eddie Howe will be out of his job come the Summer, would he be an acceptable replacement if we have a vacancy by then?

No mate, we never do, everyone else gets to choose the Glasners and Iraolas of this world.Think we will have a choice ?

They've done a worse job this year than David MoyesIn what way? Obviously Frank is struggling at Spurs but the other two have clearly done a very good job overall at their clubs, I don't see how they would be evidence of the grass not being greener in any way shape or form?

I mean, leaving aside the fact that that in itself is subjective, that doesn't equate to what you said in the first place. They've done a worse job this year than David Moyes
