Bernard Richarlison Walcott as a front three next weekend.

Arsenal will have the possession, hitting them on the break will be our best chance of scoring and that attack is our most potent.

DCL doesn’t score, who cares if he can run...

Because it opens up space for others. And I'd rather have Richarlison cutting in from the left and filling that space.

Can we also stop pretending Richarlison has never played up front?

He played there 6 or 7 times last season for Watford during his five-month spell without a goal.

I know there's caveats to that and if he does start up top I'll be fine with it, but I can see us going with DCL, and personally I think it could work.

The problem is mate that when he has been getting into goal scoring positions he's either ballooning it over, or hitting it right at the keeper, having those players around him isn't going to make his finishing any better.

I think yesterday is the first time he's consistently got into positions and missed, that's the issue.

Against H'field I can only think of one half chance he had. Before that the only time he'd got into a half-decent position was the shot he had against Wolves that Patricio saved.

So yes, while I'm worried that he isn't in form, yesterday is the first time he's actually missed good chances.

I've said all along though, the biggest worry is that he hasn't been getting himself those chances. There were plenty of decent crosses into the box yesterday that he could have been on the end of but he wasn't. One in particular, from Kenny at the start of the second half was a strikers dream, but he was on his heels, hoping it would just land on him rather than proactively getting into position to score. It's no coincidence that Sigurdsson, Calvert Lewin, Richarlison and Keane have all scored from the sort of service he's supposed to thrive on, and yet he hasn't.

He really is mate he really is.

He's not.

He's quick, makes intelligent runs, strong and has a good touch.

He's wasted on the wing and was poor yesterday. His finishing needs to improve but he wasn't guilty of missing any sitters yesterday unlike Tosun and Niasse.

If used up front to stretch defences he's a real asset. He is very quick.

Look at the run he made and nearly got on the end of that pass from Gana yesterday, just before the first goal.

Unfortunate not to bring a difficult ball down, but he had the West Ham defence left for dead.

Agree with that as well. In fact I think I said the same about him not getting into those positions.

It's a worry mate, not denying it. That's why he reminds me of Jelavic. He's stopped getting in the positions where he scored from last season.

Pretty much anyone who isn't Niasse please.

I'd go with Dom for the same reasons as @BlueToff. I think he'd give Sokratis and Mustafi a much harder time than Tosun or Niasse. Also doesn't need to be mentioned that he's scored 3 times and neither Niasse or Tosun have hit the back of the net yet.

Yeah sorry that was meant to agree with you, I don't know why I put the 'though' in!

Wow so would Usain Bolt.

So his plus point is he runs?
