Strangest place you've seen an Everton player

Not that strange, but sort of sad - after one of the depressing defeats in the Europa League fixtures last autumn, a really depressed looking Vlasic came in and bought junk food from Tesco in Allerton. He'd played well actually and just looked like a student about to go on a sugar bender. I was buying nappies and was on my own no-sleep bender with a new born baby

and Slaven Bilic in HMV in Clayton Square looking like he was gonna steal stuff, but was actually choosing a CD...can't remember the year, but ...HMV, Clayton Square..must have been decades ago!

Season before last in the black horse can’t remember what game it was that day but standing by the bar with my mates then suddenly this person barges past into me and my friend by the time I’ve turned around to give said person some abuse I realise it’s Leon Osman and think better of it!

Haha, I saw him in the pub next door to the thomas rigby with that chap at the club who does the media, was after the races. Seemed very lively.

Used to see Fellaini all the time in the casino in town normally after our home games. He bought me a bevy a couple of times as I got to know him. Chatted to David Guest in there one night too, that was bizarre.
Also had a pint with Sheedy in the Grapes, cracking bloke who chatted for ages and was genuinely pleased by the fact that he gave so much happiness to thousands in the 80's.
I did meet a couple of actresses from Corrie too at a party but that's another story !!!!!

Tell the corrie story , it’s evertom related because of kenwright :)

Saw Gary Speed, albeit in his Newcastle days, doing a bit of shopping in Chester. He was my favourite player when he played for us so I was a bit giddy. My mate didn’t think it was him so I shouted “GARY SPEED?” like a bell. He gave me the kind of wave that said “don’t come anywhere near me” and went about his day.

Me and the missus do hospitality at the Grand National weekend every year. Graeme Sharp is there every year and comes across as a bit of a misery a**e. Graham Stuart was there a couple of years ago and indulged my drunken excitement about his role in the ‘95 cup win. Davey Weir was there this year and was easily the soundest of the lot.

Saw Leighton Baines in Costa Coffee in Liverpool One a few years ago. I seemed to be the only person who recognised him and he realised and quickly turned away. Got the impression he was shy more than anything so I didn't bother him.

Not an Everton player I know but I saw Balotelli in X in the City not long before it moved, was during that period he was across the park but out injured and he always in there apparently. The girls said he was an arsehole but would tip very well.

Duncan Mckenzie going into the local charity shop, and yes I did ask if he was dropping any arl kits off.

Saw him in Barclays as well & told him he was out of order as had a t-shirt on that was 'THAT' colour.

Tim Cahill bouncing around with his Somaon buddies/relatives in the old Nexus St Helens. Got chatting, bought us a Smirnoff Ice, and I gladly bought him one back. Tony Hibbo was also a regular there ;)

I have a pic of myself with David Weir, Walter Smith and Ally Mcoist in a hotel lobby in Los Angeles.

They were all with Rangers at the time, on a pre season tour, and were staying at the same hotel my airline used for crew.

A few years back I bumped into Duncan McKenzie browsing through the second hand books in a chaity shop in Ashton in Makerfield.
Fantastic player and a genuinely nice friendly man.
;)Magic

You live in Ashton Reidy?
If it was the one opposite the Tom & Jerry (forget the name of it), he's a good mate of the manager there.
