Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Beardsley in M&S at the metro centre having lunch with his family in the early 90's
I'm sure in the 80s you'd often see injured players in the dole office.
Or is my memory playing tricks?
He used to drink n the rams head in grappenhall near warrington. I was introduced to him and had a chat. Witty bloke.Top of the Wembley steps 1995. Lesser spotted Dave Watson. Rare sighting!
That's awesome! Super Kev is my favourite player of all time. He's liked a few of my tweets and I had a massive fangirl moment.A young ex-Everton striker parked up one evening not far from Crown Street, in his conspicuous Ford Fiesta RSI, while talking to a certain type of female.
Another ex-Everton striker, of a similar generation, lying flat on his back after being a bit lewd and mouthy to a woman and others; it didn't end well for him.
On a lighter note, I had a really nice conversation with Kevin Campbell on a Pendolino down to London: a genuinely lovely man who talked so highly of the club.
I've spoke to Leighton Baines a few times as well while his son has been playing football and found him to be quiet timid and withdrawn, but pleasant overall.
If nobody recognised him, how was he spotted? This thread reminded me of the time Francesco Totti was spotted in a New York cafe and he was in his element because nobody recognised him.
Was just going to post exactly this lolIf nobody recognised him, how was he spotted?
Tim Cahill bouncing around with his Somaon buddies/relatives in the old Nexus St Helens. Got chatting, bought us a Smirnoff Ice, and I gladly bought him one back. Tony Hibbo was also a regular there![]()
