Strangest place you've seen an Everton player

Obviously not Everton players but on a Sunday night back December 2004 I saw Carragher, Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia raving in the Pleasure Rooms. Perhaps Carragher had got his Spanish team mates into Scouse House.

....quite a few years ago I was travelling back from a trip to Galway races with my mates and our transition through Dublin airport coincided with Manchester United who had played a pre-season game. Eric Cantona shared a few words before going off to ViP area, Paul Ince followed him after saying ‘fn scousers’, but Mark Hughes, Paul Parker and Brian McClare followed us into the bar and promptly started drinking Guinness.

I suppose this qualifies for this thread as Hughes did go on and play for Everton.

I met Mickey Walsh one Sunday afternoon at the British Club in Porto when I was a student there back in 1984. His missus had just been sent back to the UK as she was expecting quads (!) in one of the first test tube baby episodes, and he'd just got an injury playing for Porto so couldn't play for a few weeks. Got talking to him and reminisced about his EFC days, and we shared several beers. Met with him and some of his Porto team mates for VIP beers several times after that - happy days! A really nice and down to earth bloke.

Returning from our away game at Leicester in 1977, we called into Keele services on the M6 to be greeted by 6 of our players having a pee on the side of their coach !
