Stop Trying to be Edgy

Well that's irrelevant to the points in question.
I get what you're saying and I have no problem trying to play pragmatically against those teams but when you play teams you are better than the pragmatic approach needs to be abandoned. Or if you don't think you're good enough then you shouldn't play pragmatically ever and instead should focus on developing your team until they are good enough.

We have a surprising number of points, and have opportunities to qualify for Europe. This is positive. The negative is that we have received far more points than expected, and that this agrees quite well with what we see of the team's performance. In addition, we play an incredibly boring football, and the entertainment factor is quite low.
We weren't playing incredibly boring football with low entertainment when we won our first seven games. A lot of the players who generated that aren't
playing anywhere near that level now, even when they're not injured. There lies the frustration, for me.

Well yeah, but he wouldn’t be the choice if we had our left back fit would he? Obviously the fact he doesn’t like Nkounkou is a different debate, personally I think he’d be worth a shot in certain games, but it is what it is, I’ve already come to terms with the fact the manager isn’t going to play him. Even with him playing we wouldn’t be ripping teams to pieces because we’re still a very average mid-table side.
It's an odd one that.

It's one extreme to the other. I don't experience "elation" when we beat Sheffield United. Pleasure, satisfaction, contentedness, yes. I didn't experience "despair" when we lost to West Ham. Disappointment, frustration, and annoyance was more where I was with that.

Win a big cup tie or the derby, that's worthy of elation. We don't do much of that, though. That's because we're a pretty ordinary side that's a work-in-progress. Funnily enough, Everton has rarely been about elation and despair over the last 25 years. We've mainly been a long, bleak nothingness, emptying fans of genuine emotion: always in the top division, never truly threatening to do anything of much long-lasting significance.
I can see that supporting Everton takes you on a rollercoaster, the whole gamut of emotions from A to B

Never suggested for a moment that we should have battered them, but if we have any real aspirations of Europe next season who shouldn't be losing this type of game and especially in the way we did,how many chances did we create? A point is the very least we should have got from what will never be more than a mid-table outfit.

To be fair people say this every time we don’t beat a non-top 4 team, and in the next breath declare Leicester a guaranteed top 6 side despite the fact they lose to the likes of Fulham and West Ham at home regularly.

Can’t believe this is a thread. Isn’t that what a forums for? People like to vent because they’re emotionally involved and get frustrated. Fans also like to gloat but forums should just be opinions and discussion based.
Too many people on here take greater satisfaction in calling people out when they may be wrong. It’s like a personal duel on opinions. That’s the sad thing on here, that’s more of a personality issue of the poster though rather than the forum itself. Every fan base is the same though that’s not just us. Some people trawling through like 50 pages to find a post from months back to then call
Someone out. Far too much time on their hands and some serious issues going on......
Let’s just discuss the opinions and who cares who’s wrong or right
Agreed on this, don’t understand why people in cliques turn on their fellow blues calling them x,y and z. Go and troll on Twitter and come back when you can behave like a grown up.

Just through browsing the forum you tend to remember usernames. And i def see the same usernames disapear when the team is winning and crawl back after defeats. Its nothing to do with time on your hands. You're already browsing the thread and it takes seconds to respond to someone you clearly dont see when the side is winning games and do when it isn't.
I find it bizare behaviour that you can only get worked up after a loss.

In my opinion for what it's worth I agree its fair to criticize when its constructive and preferably with a solution it shows our passion for Everton and a loss hurts?
which is why straight after a match is not ideal the tendency is to let loose ,after the performance against West Ham that's understandable ?
It's when the trend is continuously finding fault in our posts it becomes suspicious that you are a kopite and or just an habitual troll looking for conflict ?
