Stop Trying to be Edgy

If we had lost, say to Chelsea, but had beaten West Ham, would we be feeling more positive? After all, we would have taken 12 out of the last 15 points available.

It would. The frustration comes from the fact we had put ourselves in such a good position to be able to go forward against teams with less quality.

Southampton, Newcastle, Leeds, West Ham, along with utd (which can be put over to one side as they do have better players) are the teams to beat us this year. If we can get results against Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Rs and Leicester then there shouldn't be a reason why we couldn't get more out of the others with the right application.

The thing is, nearly every team in the prem will be feeling the same as us. Spurs dropped points at home to Newcastle and West Ham, those four points would have them top of the table. I think the word frustration is probably correct, but we shouldn't be negative about the season so far. This is not a normal season.

Just through browsing the forum you tend to remember usernames. And i def see the same usernames disapear when the team is winning and crawl back after defeats. Its nothing to do with time on your hands. You're already browsing the thread and it takes seconds to respond to someone you clearly dont see when the side is winning games and do when it isn't.
I find it bizare behaviour that you can only get worked up after a loss.
Why? People are angry after a loss. Surely that is a feeling more prone to reaction than when you win and you’re content?

No. What you talking about. So you show more emotion to defeats than wins?
Whats the bleeding point in following the game then.

In my opinion for what it's worth I agree its fair to criticize when its constructive and preferably with a solution it shows our passion for Everton and a loss hurts?
which is why straight after a match is not ideal the tendency is to let loose ,after the performance against West Ham that's understandable ?
It's when the trend is continuously finding fault in our posts it becomes suspicious that you are a kopite and or just an habitual troll looking for conflict ?
I hear you. But I look forward to our games so much. I wake up literally any time from midnight (gone are the days when I stay up!) to 4am to watch us, literally every time we play. It literally affects my day how we play. If we win, I’m buzzing and life’s great. Couldn’t be happier. Just basically respond to a load of what’s app groups who are already on me after we win.if we lose, I have the rest of the day to combat, I’m not in the pub (it’s often a Monday morning) and I want to moan about what I’ve just watched. It’s just venting. People on here then start calling you negative and all sorts when it’s just emotions. Can’t believe people don’t get that.

It just doesnt work like that. You're basically saying we beat all those teams we shouldnt and lost some to who we think we should.
We'd be top of the table with maximum points.
We've beaten the fodder this year. West brom brighton sheff utd...
West ham and leeds are not fodder.
If only this football thing was that simple.

Excuse me for this, but after a win, I’m so much happier that I don’t feel the need to go on social media and vent. I do things which make me happy: what’s wrong with that???

Ah so now at least we have established you only use the forum to complain.
Thats cleared that up then.

No I'm not saying that at all, as we could have lost against the better teams and I'm fully aware we will not win every game.

If you look at the teams them lot have lost to Watford/Villa then this happens when concentration levels dip thinking it will be an easier game. To lose a couple is fine, to lose 4 in 16 (again forget about utd) is a worrying trend. Southampton and Leeds deserved to beat us Newcastle and West Ham were there for the taking and are games we should not have lost.

Fella, it’s just a forum about Everton. I’ve just tried to explain stuff. And you’re trying to get into a personal argument. You ok?

Why are you playing the victim? You put out a comment and i replied that i dont think the forum should be used just for criticising.
We've both "tried to explain stuff"
Yet yours is only vaild is it.

This is very true.
