Stop Trying to be Edgy

No I'm not saying that at all, as we could have lost against the better teams and I'm fully aware we will not win every game.

If you look at the teams them lot have lost to Watford/Villa then this happens when concentration levels dip thinking it will be an easier game. To lose a couple is fine, to lose 4 in 16 (again forget about utd) is a worrying trend. Southampton and Leeds deserved to beat us Newcastle and West Ham were there for the taking and are games we should not have lost.

This was on here yest. I think every team in the division has had 4 dodgy games this season.
How often on this forum have we tried to predict the next 5/6 fixtures and got it totaly wrong.
December for example. We had us sitting in the bottom 5 by the end of it.
There is without a doubt on this forum by some, not all, who think we have won before we even turn up against some teams.
I take very few as givens. Very few.

We weren't playing incredibly boring football with low entertainment when we won our first seven games. A lot of the players who generated that aren't
playing anywhere near that level now, even when they're not injured. There lies the frustration, for me.
Unfortunately we have a lot of players that can’t do it on a cold winters night on Merseyside.

Reckon we are in with a chance of top 4. Given the manager and his calibre and some teams who supposedly have better squads seem to be slipping themselves as well. Its disappointing we got done over by Mr Percentage Moyes, his sides have always managed this type of ressult.

Tribalism attached to football does attract a lot of people that see things as either black or white, rather than shades of grey. Luckily vaulting exist so that the complete morons can be exposed at regular intervals.

I just don't get why people go to defcon 5 as soon as we don't get a result, based on what we have seen from some of these Everton players over the last couple of years.

We should all know that a side missing Keane, digne, Allan, james and having siggy, Tommy D, Bernard, sheamo Coleman who is declining and a Richy who is out of sorts/form, can throw in the performance v wham, in any match. I was so pleased we managed to pick up the points we did.

Sure, its frustrating that we have dropped points against some very average sides (we are still an average side unfortunately, especially with so many of our quality players out or returning from injury), but we have won games we normally don't in this most mental of seasons.

If we could just get some consistency to our performances and get and keep our key players fit, the top 4 is there this season, no question - but I have seen it too many times with the siggys, Delphs, Bernie's that if they are called upon, we will get poor results and performances more often than not, so going nuclear doesn't make sense to me?

Carlo knows what he is doing, and him and brands need a few more transfer windows to get us where we need to be squad wise.

One has been on today. Never called him out by name and i could be wrong but i cant recall seeing him post at all during december( he was very very vocal during the 5 game poor run before)
Get beat by west ham. He's back.
Thats fine if thats how you want to post. But dont start crying when being pulled up about it. You cant have it all ways.

In terms of points, we can not complain, and we are in a good position. I have always said that the top 8 is the realistic goal. On the other hand, we see little development in our game. Which is also reflected in the statistics. At the same time, we have had some important players out. For now, we just have to be patient. The goal must be top 8, get rid of some players, get players with quality, and create an identity. Next year, the top 6 should be the goal.

To be fair people say this every time we don’t beat a non-top 4 team, and in the next breath declare Leicester a guaranteed top 6 side despite the fact they lose to the likes of Fulham and West Ham at home regularly.
Don't care about Leicester results,I'm only interested in us beating the teams that given the money we've spent and the manager we have we should.
