I don’t think Carlo is as bad as Martinez, as he’s more likely to have us finishing about 8th rather than 11th. But rather than our fan base being ‘edgy’, I swear that we go well OTT, fall in love, and rave over utterly average wank.
It took two seasons to get rid of Martinez because so many people had fallen in love with him. Besic is still here because people fell in love with him for some mad reason. Some people fell in love with Bilyaletdinov just because he delivered two decent corners in the UEFA cup, it took years for some to finally accept that he was absolutely cack!
We overhype many of our players. Gomes for example, people were raving about him but he’s absolute crap!
