How he do today?

Looked good IMO.

He was boss when on the pitch in Bobbys first season, dont care what the stats say. He has never shown great stats but was often a key player.

Said in Bobbys first transfer window that we needed a new Pienaar type player. Still bloody do. Tired of watching stoppers and speed merchants. I want through balls and game controlling.

I imagine he will do a job for moyes if used as a late sub, but he is on his last legs

Nice addition for Moyes always a favorite of mine. Sad to see him leave but glad he is being used.

He still has the quality and he never relied on pace, just that first step or two of agility. Naturally regular injuries has taken that away from him.

Wish him the best. Tried himself elsewhere; didn't work. Came back and accepted that this is where he was meant to be. The telepathic link between him and Baines was a joy to watch.

I keep thinking back to that season where Baines, Pienaar and Fellani basically just passed circles around the opposition. They were untouchable that year.

Severely limited fitness wise, was keen enough to run as much as he could. You could see he had the nouse. If they can get him fit and keep him fit, he'll help them with a bit of guile...whether it'll be enough to keep them up???
