I wish him well for the future and look forward to seeing him in their side this season. We he returns he'll hardly recognise the new EFC line up. Great player and I hope he can still produce a bit of magic for Sunderland.

Though sad to see him leave for Spurs I think his instant regret and willingness to return here at the first opportunity actually made him a bit more special. It rejuvenated him and he was brilliant for 12 months, fully appreciating just what a special club he represented.

He will get a great reception on his return.
